Professor Fabio Coelho is a 5th-degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Master Renzo Gracie and one of the lead instructors at the renowned Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City. Born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Fabio has dedicated more than 30 years to the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He earned his black belt in 2006 under Cristiano "Titi" Lazzarine and Master Vinicius "Draculino" Magalhães, building a foundation rooted in world-class instruction and tradition. Throughout his career, Fabio has competed extensively, earning multiple medals in major IBJJF championships while developing a reputation for technical excellence, disciplined instruction, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Today, Fabio teaches students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to elite competitors.
